Banana, the 4th largest agricultural product is filled with many essential nutrients. The demand for banana has increased due to increasing emphasis on its weight-loss, digestion and heart health properties. Banana is of great importance to small-scale farmers. Thus, at the UPL EBDC Global Symposium, “Farmer First Programme” was put forth in true spirit, with discussions on emerging issues in banana plantations, sharing of best practices across the globe and a focus on new technologies and offerings from UPL.
The EBDC Global Symposium was organized by UPL Philippines in Davao City to help farmers achieve impeccable quality of bananas and improve production across the globe. The event was filled with enthusiasm and driven individuals who were eager to learn how they could improve their crop yield. We were humbled to see the huge turnout and want to thank all our attendees for making EBDC Global Symposium such a great success.
